As a member of TPSS Co-op, you
have the following responsibilities
- Shop at the
Co-op: It may sound obvious, but remember that we rely on you to
economically support your store and ensure its success.
- Promote the Co-op to Others: Spread the word;
explain to your friends and family how TPSS differs from other stores
and why they too should help support their community Co-op.
- Pay your Capitalization: If you have decided to pay
your capitalization on the installment plan, please keep up with your
payment schedule. This money is invested back into the store and we
have counted on receiving it in a timely fashion.
- Voice your Concerns and Suggestions: Take advantage
of the suggestion box or use our newsletter The
Cooperative Effort to communicate with fellow Co-op members by
writing an article.
- Show your Membership Card: Every time you shop at
the Co-op have your membership card handy to get your member discounts.
- Vote and Participate in Consensus Decision Making:
Each membership ($100) receives one vote. Exercise your right to vote
on certain policies and Board of Representatives elections as they
occur. Participate in Membership and Committee meetings.
